Save our Elephants || Event in Luxmi Vilas Palace, Vadodara

Shagun Mehra is a celebrity chef, social activist, and one of the known women entrepreneurs in India. She has always been quite vocal about saving the environment and animals. Shagun also recognizes herself as a conservationist as she is also a founder of the organization “Ear to the Wild,” where she actively organizes a fundraiser every year for the conservation of elephants in Asia.

This time, Shagun opted for organizing her “Save our elephants” Charity Auction and Dinner at Darbar Hall in Luxmi Vilas Palace, Vadodara. Where she partnered with more than 40 known public figures and artists from India. They supported the cause by auctioning their well-made pieces and donating the money towards the noble cause of conserving elephants in our country as India now has only about 2000 elephants.

This auction ceremony-cum- fundraiser was attended by a lot of known people that included Maharani Radhikaraje Gaekwad, Rekha Rodtiwittaya, Surendran Nair, Siddharth Kasliwal, Samarjeet Gaekwad, and much more. This auction was also supported by celebrities such as Sachin Tendulkar, Wendell Rodrigues, and even the Forest Department of West Bengal. Our Pictorials Global team got a golden opportunity to cover the event from a short distance.
